Raita (Yogurt Sauce)

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • ┬╝ cup water
  • ┬╝ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ┬╝ teaspoon chili powder
  • ┬╝ cup cucumber, peeled, seeded, and chopped
  • ┬╝ cup red onion, finely chopped
  • ┬╝ cup tomato, finely chopped
  • ┬╝ cup cilantro, finely chopped
  • ┬╝ teaspoon salt

Directions

Mix yogurt and water together well. Add the spices, cucumber, onion, tomato, cilantro, and salt. Mix well and serve.
